We only had a one night stay en route home from Spain. The hotel is lovely, it had great facilities and a lovely view of the sea. It is just a short walk along the promenade to the main centre, where there are a range of bars/restaurants/shops. We travelled with our pet dog, and the Sofitel allows pets. A bed, toy and bowl were provided for the dog, which was great. We were disappointed that the pets are only allowed in the room, not anywhere else in the hotel. I understand not being allowed in the Spa/pool area and restaurant, however, like other Accor group hotels, I would have expected a well-behaved dog to accompany us for an evening drink at the spacious bar. Overall it was a lovely stay, albeit short.

Weekend getaway trip to watch a show in town. Hotel is well located on the beach but the hotel itself is far from what one would expect from a Sofitel. Staff is friendly but the rooms are shabby, the exterior is showing its age and it was a disappointment to have spent hard-earned points on this hotel.

A film location, facing the ocean. But when we calculate the prices charged, whether for accommodation or for the services actually offered, we feel somewhat disadvantaged. A classic hotel would require better maintenance. A restaurant for a hotel like this should offer more and better options, without abusing prices as it does
