We stayed for 2 nights, complimentary upgrade which was brilliant. It was our 10 year wedding anniversary and we got married at Walton Hall. Was lovely to be back. Please get a jacuzzi in the Spa.

A bad really bad experience

The rooms were very tired and furnishings poor. The air con didn't work (we found out it had been faulty for a long time ) it was hot weather and the windows didn't open. So we could sleep I had to force open and jam with a brick !!!! . At dinner we asked for tap water and were served a jug of brown cloudy water. !!! We had a storm one night and we were told by another guest that they had water leaking through the ceiling. We were unable to see or speak to a manager as he was always busy. We found when we got home that we had been charged twice !!!!

Red letter experience

Ruth W TripAdvisor review

This was a one night bed and breakfast for two through Red Letter Day voucher. The surrounding, gardens and countryside were amazing. Beds very comfortable although room very basic. It cost £18 extra for breakfast, but I don’t understand why? We had our evening meal in the restaurant, not great quality food at dinner or breakfast. Service was fine and setting lovely. I would not choose to eat here again. To go swimming it was an extra £10 per person each visit to the pool. Pool was nice but not one for swimming lengths. Changing room small and basic. Showered were not very warm. No extras to make the stay welcoming. I feel the hotel could give one complimentary swim per person. The older, grander building was not being used and looked like it was used for conferences and training. I was disappointed with the overall quality.

This Hotel is Set in the the countryside with the best views. The Hotel service is very good and the rooms are very clean. The spa is very good with a lovely swimming pool. The Restaurant was very good, Menu same every night which is the downside. The breakfast was buffet style with everything you could possibly need. Really enjoyed my stay.

Dear Jackie, What a truly wonderful review which has made all of us very happy in a kind of 'it's all worth it' sort of a way! I cannot tell you how gratifying it is to receive such feedback as it means so much to the team. Thank you so much for leaving a review and we do hope you will return to Walton Hall again in the future, Warm wishes, Diane

Wonderful place, amazing staff!

Blytonesque TripAdvisor review

We had a wonderful stay at Walton Hall. The setting is amazing and we got an upgrade to the old building (the Hall itself!), which was just wonderful. It’s a fabulous place to base oneself to visit beautiful Warwickshire (although if you’re planning that kind of a trip, you will prob need a car as the location is secluded and this makes taxis quite expensive). The room (including quietness and comfort), spa, food (including brekkies), and beautiful scenery got top marks from us. Even more importantly, though, the staff were highly attentive, helpful, pleasant and friendly; and they consistently went ‘above and beyond’ to ensure we had a good stay. In particular, Leena and Bruno were a joy to deal with and really added to our holiday! We’ll definitely return :)

Dear Blytonesque, How lovely to read your review,. Praise indeed! We are so pleased that you had an enjoyable experience and Bruno and Lena went above and beyond! they very much enjoyed meeting you and looking after you that night,as all these lovely comments truly mean so much. We do hope that we will have the opportunity of welcoming you back another time. Warm regards, Diane
